The garden around your pool matters as much as the pool
In Oman a pool is used for most of the year, so everything around it works hard: heat reflecting off the water, salt in the air, chlorine splash on the deck, and irrigation that must stay clear of the pool. We plan for all four before a single plant goes in.
Our poolside teams handle the construction (levels, drainage, non-slip decking, pergolas, lighting) and the planting and irrigation that keeps it thriving through summer. Licensed by the Oman Ministry of Agriculture.
- Pool deck and coping
- Layered poolside planting
- Shade structures and pergolas
- Lighting and water features

Complete poolside landscaping, from shell to shade
One team for structure and planting, so the deck, the water and the garden are designed as one space.
Pool surrounds and decking
Sandstone, travertine and non-slip paving laid to falls away from the water, so the deck stays walkable in the sun and drains after every splash.
Poolside planting
Palms, frangipani, bougainvillea and grasses chosen for humidity, glare and salt air, layered so the pool sits inside the garden.
Water features and cascades
Sheer descents, scuppers, rock cascades and reflection channels that add the sound of moving water.
Pool and garden lighting
Pool lights, step lights, palm uplights and low garden fixtures on separate circuits, so the water looks good long after sunset.
Pergolas and shade
Pergolas, cabanas, daybed decks and outdoor kitchens that make the pool surround a shaded room you can use all summer.
Pool garden care
Seasonal pruning, planting refreshes and irrigation checks that keep a planted poolside looking its best all year.
See the transformation
Drag the slider to see a bare yard become a planted, usable poolside retreat.

Our working process
A clear sequence, agreed in writing, so you always know what happens next.
Free site visit
We measure the pool, deck and boundaries, check drainage and sun, and listen to how you want to use the space.
Concept and 3D design
A layout and planting plan with materials and a 3D view, so you approve the result before work begins.
Build and plant
Decking, coping, structures and lighting go in first, then planting and irrigation around the finished pool.
Handover and care
A walk-through, care guidance and a seasonal maintenance plan to keep the poolside at its best.
Planted for water, heat and salt air
A poolside garden is a hard place to grow. We choose species that tolerate humidity and splash, group them by water need, and put irrigation on its own zone so the pool never takes the runoff.
- Species chosen for salt, splash and reflected heat
- Drip irrigation on its own zone, clear of the pool
- Root barriers and raised beds beside the shell
Poolside landscaping FAQs
Can you landscape around a pool that already exists?
Yes. Most of our poolside work is a retrofit. We protect the existing shell and filtration, re-lay coping and decking where needed, and build the planting and shade around what is already there.
Which decking stays cool in Omani summers?
Light-coloured sandstone and travertine with a honed, not polished, finish. We lay large-format paving with narrow joints, test slip resistance when wet, and seal it against salt and chlorine splash.
What plants survive beside chlorinated water and salt air?
Palms, frangipani, bougainvillea, golden duranta, agave, cordyline and jasmine all cope well. We group them by water need and keep spray heads out of the pool.
Will planting or irrigation damage the pool?
Not when it is planned properly. Planting goes into raised beds or behind root barriers at a safe distance from the shell, and every deck is graded to drain away from the water.
How long does a poolside project take?
Survey and design usually take one to two weeks. Construction and planting typically take two to six weeks, depending on deck area, structures and the size of the planting scheme.
